The Qur’an is the book of Allah revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It’s words have been kept exactly as they were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The scholars of Tafsir (interpretation of the Qur’an) have laid down strict rules for the interpretation of the Qur’an, however, the difference of scholars’ background and main concern contributed to the difference of their interpretation of the Qur’an.

We, humans, are imperfect but we are required to make the earnest struggle to understand the Qur’an as best as we can.
