The Book of Allah has been a source of ultimate guidance for all Mankind since it was revealed upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Qur’an has been proven beyond doubt to be the word of Allah. Whoever seeks guidance and inner peace from other than it will be misguided.

Ustadh Nouman Khan talks about his journey to find the truth regarding the religious sects while he was in New York. He said that he discovered that every mosque has its own view regarding the Shari`ah. Every group believes that they are the right one and they would give many lectures to prove how the other groups are misguided.

Ustadh Nouman goes on to say that he joined many of these groups to learn. At the end, he realized that every group emphasizes on a certain way, certain books or certain Da`wah methodologies in order to be a good Muslim. He says that none of these groups believe that the right curriculum of the Muslim should be the Book of Allah. The Almighty Allah says:

The word of Allah – that is the highest. (At-Tawbah 9:40)

Moreover if one of these groups quotes something from the Qur’an, it is only to justify its position and to prove that others are going to Hell.

The unity of all humans is the ultimate aim of the teachings of the Qur’an. Almighty Allah says:

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. (`Aal `Imran 3:103)
