Here Sheikh Yasir Qadhi clarifies the nature of the Qur’an and how it challenged the disbelievers over 1400 years ago and, to this day, not one person has been able to imitate the prose of the Qur’an.
Allah the Almighty says:
Or do they say, He (Muhammad) has forged it! Say: Bring then a surah like unto it and call upon whomsoever you can, besides Allah, if you are truthful. (Yunus 10:38)
Sheik Yasir begins his talk by mentioning the wisdom of Al-Huruf Almuqatta`ah (broken letters) at the beginning of many chapters of the Qur’an and how scholars differ on their meanings. They are fourteen letters and the Arabic alphabet is composed of twenty-eight letters which means that Allah uses half of these alphabetical letters in the beginning of these chapters.
Then, he mentions some of the miracles that happened to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and yet the Prophet said that there is only one miracle which is the Qur’an. In short, the miracle of the Qur’an eclipses all other miracles.
